| Description | I General Information On the same day of the blessing of the new building of the convent, on 1942, November 30, bishop Augustine kandathil laid the foundation stone for the house of girls who are enter orphan or poor. This hosue Karunalayam was blessed on 1957 May 13th and named after our lady of mercy. 85 Girls are there in this orphanage who stay here and having their education. Karunalayam celebrated its golden jubilee on May 2001. |
